Responsibilities 1. Partake in research strategies to build and advance early therapeutic antibody discovery pipeline. 2. Partner with Discovery Biology team and lead the antibody discovery to IND (investigational new drug) and deliver therapeutics with meaningful efficacy beyond standard of care. 3.Scientific point of contact in a leadership role managing antibody discovery projects with academics, partners and CROs to align with internal protein engineering efforts. 4.Proactively collaborate with academic partners with the expectation of publishing data in top-tier scientific journals. 5.Provide leadership to a team of scientists and lab associates of all experience.Guide and mentor project leaders. 6.Have the ability to be creative and continue antibody discovery research and engineering strategies within. Qualifications 1.Ph.D. in molecular cell biology or biochemical sciences with 5 or more years experience in leading biologics drug discovery projects is required. 2.Expert knowledge and prior hands-on experience with one or more antibody discovery technologies (hybridoma or display technologies) is required. 3.Excellent analytical skills and ability to critically evaluate information for accuracy is required 4. Experienced in evaluating and assessing new technologies and biologic molecules is required.
