- Accountable for delivering assigned Global and Regional projects for their assigned platforms
- Generally works independently with limited guidance in managing several cross functional global project teams and oversees the key deliverables and project milestones of assigned project teams.
- Has a sound knowledge in the Project Management profession and personally leads global projects of varying complexity that are critical to delivering innovation and growth to their assigned therapeutic area.
- Serves as the Project Manager for a portfolio of projects of varying complexity.
- Anticipates project issues, business, technical, and regulatory and recommends project, process, or product improvements that address project issues or emerging risk.
- Leverages the new product development process to drive key objectives and results for their assigned projects.
- Manages the execution of the key functional deliverables within the project plan by leveraging core team and sub-team members throughout each development phase through launch. Partners with all functions globally to ensure delivery of key project team activities against the critical path.
- Ensures their assigned projects meet key deliverables within project scope, timing and budget and meets project success criteria. Ensures project scope change requests are elevated promptly via Change Communication process.
- Tracks projects and provides timely/relevant project status updates to Leadership and Key SMEs. Facilitates resolution of any project issues (e.g. potential delays) &; risks and engages the Project Leader and Governances to drive resolution as needed
-Proactively identifies any potential or actual risks and delays and proposes prevention and mitigation plans
- Accountable for project budget management and forecasting for their assigned growth portfolio of projects.
- May, with management oversight, lead other department initiatives including, but not limited to Project Management process refinement/development, new business technology solutions, or other department initiatives.
Qualifications：
-3 to 5 years plus experience or more (or equivalent) in the Project Management field leading OTC, medical device, Rx or regulated consumer goods development product launches.
-BS/BA preferred in one of the following disciplines: science, engineering, business, or supply chain discipline
-MBA or MS strongly preferred
-PMP professional certification highly desirable
Some experience in leading and motivating cross-functional global teams in a matrixed environment required.
